#TorresDelPaineSnapshot2024: Conquest of the Base Torres Viewpoint Las Torres Patagonia 2024

For generations, amateur and professional photographers have come together to capture the unique landscapes of Patagonia, from its wild fauna, its diverse flora, and the unrepeatable geoforms present in this place.

Without this photographic work, Torres del Paine National Park would not be as well-known as it is today. In the mid-twentieth century, this place was recommended only through word of mouth due to the lack of electronic media such as we have today. The stories of visitors could say many things, but when someone came with a photograph of the majestic granite towers is when the famous saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" came true. This same phrase gave rise to the first version of the contest in the year 2023.

From Las Torres Patagonia, we want to honor that ancient photographic tradition, and recognize those wonderful portraits that our visitors take with their cameras or even cell phones. We want to continue to bring to the world the image of these colossal granite structures that stand tall in Patagonia or those unique landscapes of the national park so that the memories of visitors are forever captured in a photograph.
