YOUR BEST TREKKING MOMENTS

Entries must focus on trekking experiences: moments lived during journeys on foot along trails, mountains or natural routes, anywhere in the world. They may include one or more people, or focus instead on a natural element of the setting.

• Any camera: professional, analogue (digitised) or phone.
• Colour or black and white.
• Partial editing is allowed, as long as it doesn't alter the authenticity of the shot.
• No AI-generated or AI-manipulated images. Only real photographs captured by the author during a trekking experience.
• Instagram posts only — reels and stories are not considered.
• Enter as many photographs as you like.
• Photos must be original and your own; offensive, inappropriate or copyright-infringing images will not be accepted.

Open to anyone aged 18 or over who enters within the contest period and meets the entry criteria. Employees of Las Torres Patagonia are not eligible.

Your Instagram account must be public so we can see your post. If your account is private, send us your post by direct message to @lastorres.patagonia.

A jury of four selects a single winner, announced on Friday 4 September 2026:

• Rodrigo Guendelman — Chilean journalist, founder of Santiago Adicto and Chile Adicto.
• Hannah Rheaume — American nature and wildlife photographer specialising in fauna and conservation.
• Nick Savage — American travel journalist based in London, specialising in adventure and outdoor travel.

Judging criteria: creativity and originality · relevance to the theme · technique, quality, composition and use of light.

The winner receives a W Journey in fully equipped camping for two people in Torres del Paine National Park, redeemable in October 2026 or April 2027. The stay includes meals; cocktails and excursions are not included.

• The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods, and is personal and non-transferable.
• Any cost outside the programme is the winner's responsibility.
• To redeem, the winner must present ID or passport and meet the entry requirements.
• If the prize is not used within the stated period, it is forfeited.
• The prize does not include domestic or international airfare to Chile and/or to the starting city of the program.

All images must comply with the regulations in force in the natural area where they were taken. Entering restricted areas, using drones without authorisation, or damaging nature and its geological formations results in immediate disqualification.

Photographs that break the rules of conduct established by local authorities will not be accepted either.
