We are thrilled to announce a major milestone: 100% of the FIRST section of the Base Torres trail is now complete! Thanks to the incredible effort of our community, we have successfully restored 1.5 km of sustainable trail. But our journey doesn’t end here—there are 3 sections in total, and we need your help to restore the next one.

Building on the success of our previous campaign, which brought together more than 1,000 participants, at Las Torres Patagonia we are excited to launch the next chapter of this great social initiative. We are also very happy to announce that Sky Airline has joined us as a partner in this campaign, working together on the reconstruction of the Base Torres trail. This is your chance to win an all-expenses-paid voluntourism trip to Torres del Paine, with two date options available!

As a winner, you’ll immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Chilean Patagonia while actively supporting the restoration of the Base Torres trail in our Reserve, located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). For us, this restoration is essential both to preserve this iconic destination and to ensure the survival of its unique ecosystem.

Located in Chile’s Southern Patagonian Ice Field, Torres del Paine National Park is home to some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. We know that adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers travel here to marvel at the famous Cuernos del Paine, their towering peaks, and the vibrant blue icebergs.

Through our voluntourism initiative, we aim to repair and rebuild heavily eroded trails, marking the beginning of a new era of sustainable, gently sloping paths that will protect the park’s ecosystem.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

How to participate
Entry

Starting February 5, participants can enter by posting a video on Instagram (maximum 45 seconds).
In their videos, participants should explain why responsible tourism and sustainability are important to them.

To qualify:
- Tap the 'Add Yours' sticker in our Stories with the topic "my green video" and upload a video (max 45s).
- Mention @lastorres.patagonia and @skyairline in your Story so we can see your entry!
- Follow @lastorres.patagonia and @skyairline on Instagram.
- Ensure your Instagram account is set to public.
Entries close at midnight PST on February 20.

Judging

After February 20, Las Torres Patagonia will announce the 10 winners on Instagram (@lastorres.patagonia and @skyairline). Winners must meet all criteria. Groups and travel dates will be assigned.

Winners will also be notified via email and must confirm acceptance of the prize by February 27.

The Prize

Winners will receive an all-expenses-paid, five-day trip to Patagonia, Chile, including round-trip airfare. They will actively contribute to restoring trails and surrounding areas.

Upon arrival at Puerto Natales Airport, participants will begin their journey at Hotel Las Torres, an upscale all-inclusive hotel at the entrance of Torres del Paine National Park.

The itinerary includes:
- Guided excursions inside Torres del Paine National Park.
- Trail restoration work.
- Relaxation and adventure in one of the world’s most stunning natural environments.
About The Contest
DEADLINES 2026

From February 5 to February 20, Las Torres Patagonia will be accepting video entries on Instagram for a chance to win a spot in this unique experience.
In their videos, participants should explain why responsible tourism and sustainability are important to them.

After February 20, an expert panel of judges will select ten winners to join the trip. The experience will be hosted over two sets of dates:
- Five volunteers from March 22–27
- Five volunteers from March 28–April 2
Las Torres Patagonia will arrange airfare and travel — all winners need to do is pack!
Terms and conditions
Eligibility:

Participants must be at least 21 years old, reside in the United States, Canada, UK, Brasil and/or Chile, and be in physical condition to perform strenuous outdoor activities.

Submission Requirements:
- All entries must be submitted by February 20 (closing at midnight PST).
- Tap the 'Add Yours' sticker in our Stories with the topic of your green video and upload a video (max 45s).
- Mention @lastorres.patagonia and @skyairline in your Story so we can see your entry!
- Follow @lastorres.patagonia and @skyairline on Instagram.
- Ensure your Instagram account is set to public.
- Prize Details: Winners will receive non-refundable, round-trip airfare, ground transportation to and from Puerto Natales Airport, lodging, meals at Las Torres Patagonia, and a customized ecotourism itinerary led by professionals.
Important Notes:
- Travel dates will be assigned at random.
- Flights from North America to Santiago, Chile, include a stopover in Miami.
- The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Instagram posts must be public to qualify.
- By participating, entrants agree to be featured in promotional photos shared on social media and to share campaign content on their personal social media channels as part of the experience.
- All images, videos, and audiovisual material taken of the winners during the volunteering activities are the exclusive property of Las Torres Patagonia. By participating, winners grant Las Torres Patagonia the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, edit, and publish such material for promotional, marketing, and communication purposes, in any media and without time or geographic limitation.
